An illegal immigrant has been discovered and had a tragic end. After 24 years, he believe the law would be on his side in order to keep him within the United States, but that proved not to be true. After all these years, he has been sent back to Mexico and cannot return back to the U.S. despite his hard work and dedication to stay within. He is incredibly anguished that he has spent so much of his life in a great country where he could flourish and improve his life, but, as most illegal things, it didn't have a happy ending.
I was very sad for Angelo Cabrera because of all the pain he has went through because of this political issue, but I also thought he was very jealous for getting an easy way into the United States. It is terrible that even after 24 years, he is still not recognized as a citizen and is banned from the U.S., but It is understandable on why he was sent back. Other people have extreme difficulties trying to get into the U.S. but have to wait because of immigration laws and the flood of new people wanting to come to the U.S. Some people have to cross oceans and land masses just to make it, but others can just cross a small distance without many obstacles. It is unfair that some people have to wait while others can cross so easily.
This article tackles immigration issues on if people should or should not be allowed to cross borders without documentation. Legal immigrants have had to wait long periods of time in order to finally emigrate from their home country to come to another. Illegal immigrants cross borders secretively and live their lives until they get caught. Each type of immigrant has reasons for their movement but there are laws and rules governing the movement of people from foreign areas. Either everyone must accept and follow the rules or break them in order for their personal gain.
